2. The Sky deck Chicago is home to one of the world's fastest elevators. The elevators are capable of traveling at a speed of 1,800 feet per minute, which means they can reach the top of the building in less than a minute if they're not carrying any passengers.

6. The glass boxes that make up The Ledge are each made up of three layers of half-inch glass and are capable of supporting up to five tons of weight.


7. In addition to its stunning views and dizzying heights, the Sky deck Chicago also boasts an extensive art collection. Visitors can view works by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, and Alexander Calder, among others.
