Friday and I'm feeling blue. My heart aches with the need to escape, to go somewhere serene and rejuvenating. So where do I go? Well, how about Punta Islita Autograph Collection in Costa Rica?
The place was a breathtaking blend of rugged terrain and luxury accommodations. The warm and friendly staff welcomed us with a cold glass of coconut cocktail and we were already feeling like royalty. Checking in was great.. Everything and everyone was so nice.
The hotel is simply divine. It's small and intimate, tucked away by the hill with a beautiful view of the mountains and the ocean. Each bungalow has a cozy hammock on the terrace, and it's far enough from other vacationers to be just peaceful. We had an exquisite view of the vibrant sunset over the rolling hills, which we took advantage of by sitting on our terrace every evening to watch the beautiful display of colors.
The magnificent infinity pool overlooked the golden sand beach and crystal clear waters of the Pacific Ocean, making it hard to resist jumping straight into the warm and inviting waters. I felt my senses rejuvenate as I plunged into the salty sea. The gentle sway of the ocean and the surrounding jungle made me feel alive and connected to nature in a way I never experienced before. The swimming pool was beyond perfect. The infinity pool was a beautiful sight to see, overlooking both the mountains and the ocean. We also enjoyed a nature walk down the property to a club where we found another pool and had brunch with delicious cocktails.
As a family, we were thrilled with the array of adventurous activities available in the area. We enjoyed zip-lining through the verdant forests, ATV riding through the mountains and surfing in the crystal-clear waters.
The restaurants on the property served gastronomic delights, bursting with flavor and culture. The culinary experience was simply breathtaking. Every evening we were spoilt for choice with gourmet food in the resort's fine dining restaurant, accompanied by exceptional service and live music that created the perfect ambiance.
And as much as I loved the exciting adventures and romantic moments, it was the time spent with my family that made this vacation truly majestic. We laughed, we bonded, and we made memories that will last a lifetime.
Overall, our stay was exactly what we needed. It was private and relaxing, nourishing to our bodies and souls. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway. Punta Islita Autograph Collection, we'll be back soon.
